Shopping is stressful enough without having to remember everything you need to buy. Which is why it's important to have a good list manager. Now in the old days, people used to write shopping lists in little books. On paper. They were crazy days. Since then, you'll be glad to know, that we've moved on quite a few paces. Now the world of the shopping list is far more interesting.
For a start, SplashShopper allows you to input the products you want to buy, the shops you want to buy them from and the prices of each one, quickly calculating if you've gone over budget. Of course this means you need to know the prices of all the items you are going to buy which for me would be impossible. You can even input which aisle in the store you need to get the product from. Sorry, but if you know that then you really are spending too long in the supermarket. Probably best of all are the 'Quick lists' you can save, which are particularly useful for shopping trips of varying regularity eg the weekly shop, the monthly shop and the yearly Christmas turkey. All in all it's a very good list manager, but I prefer to be a little unorganised. Helps me pretend my life is interesting.
